From September 28 to October 11, the 2026 China Open got underway, bringing together the high-profile WTA 1000 and ATP 500 events. Top players from around the world gathered at the National Tennis Center, delivering high-quality matches that combined speed and aesthetic. As the Official LED Display Partner of the China Open, Leyard has supported the event for 13 consecutive years. This edition, a 2,000㎡ high-definition LED display matrix covered the arena and the surrounding park, using professional display technology to freeze every highlight of the match and build a fully immersive, high-quality viewing environment.

01. Full-Coverage Layout — Anchoring the Core Courts

As the centerpiece venue of the China Open, Diamond Court is the focal arena of the tournament. Leyard built a complete display solution for the court, achieving multi-area coverage of the on-court visuals. The north and south main back-wall screens, the giant wraparound ring screen, the large dual-side grandstand displays, together with event speed-tracking screens and meeting-room displays, form a complete, mature and battle-tested visual support system.

The high-definition, stable display equipment lets fans anywhere in the stands clearly follow the players' swing motion, serve-speed data and live score changes, recreating on-court detail and heightening the intensity of the competition, while underpinning professional broadcast and the live viewing experience.

Beyond Diamond Court, the main show courts — Lotus, Yingyue and Buluode — as well as the outer training courts, are all equipped with Leyard professional display terminals. Lotus Court features an innovative pair of a grandstand screen and an outdoor-platform viewing screen, breaking the limits of where you can watch the action, so fans can follow the match even while taking a break. At Yingyue and Buluode courts, broadcast screens and speed-tracking displays keep event data and match footage up to date. Dedicated scoreboards and speed screens on Court C provide stable event information output for the secondary and outer training courts, ensuring that multiple courts are presented in sync and no detail is missed.

02. Beyond the Court — A New Viewing Experience

During this year's China Open, Leyard connected competition venues with leisure areas, creating multiple "photo-spot" viewing points so the charm of tennis permeates every corner of the park. The standout "China Open Ring" viewing zone has been a high-energy gathering spot since opening. Leyard installed a 200㎡ grass-side open-air broadcast ring screen and a 35㎡ outdoor HD screen here, creating one of the most recognisable landmarks of this year's event. Fans can watch players' pre-match training live on the outdoor screen, get close to the competitive rhythm of the pros, and enjoy a relaxed al-fresco viewing experience beyond the venue walls.

The atmospheric clay-court area of previous years has been reimagined as a trendy sports zone, keeping the energy high off the court. Displays have also been installed in leisure areas such as the open-air restaurant on the fourth floor of the main building, offering a one-stop "dine-and-watch, stroll-and-watch, relax-and-watch" experience.
